Hi friends!

I know we've been all going through TOUGH times during this pandemic . There are many who feel emotions of uncertainty and anxiety. I am here to let you know you are not alone! After a storm, there is always a rainbow, so lets try to remember that we are truly in this together.

I have been trying to find ways to help others who are new to the wonderful world of homeschooling. Below, I'm going to share some of my interactive lessons I currently use with my kids, including direct links to some of the resources used.

Here are some tips when partaking in a lesson with your kids:

•Introduce your lesson with a story.

•Display various visuals.

•Use hands on materials rather than a straight "pencil and paper" approach (ie. write letters with fingers in sand, or spell out words with puzzle letters).

•Include a creative, constructive, sensory or outdoor activity.

•Ask open ended questions throughout the lesson (ie. I wonder, how did that happen?, how does that work?).

•If possible, include cooking or baking into your lesson.

•Most importantly, GIVE YOURSELF SOME CREDIT! You are doing an AMAZING job!
