Confetti Pumpkins

I had so many people ask about how to create these Confetti Pumpkins on instagram, so here you go!

Below you’ll see the ingredients needed and just a few easy steps on how to make these beauties.

You will need:

Pumpkin (preferably white)

Tissue paper

Scissors

Acrylic paint (White and gold)

Paint brush

Podge

Step 1: Wipe your pumpkin clean. Get rid of dirt and mud so when painting this doesn’t leave bumps and paint looks smooth. Dry after with paper towel.

Step 2: Paint the pumpkin white. This will need 2-3 coats of paint. Make sure you let it dry completely before applying the next coat.

Step 3: Paint the stem. I used gold acrylic paint for the stem because I LOVE white and gold together. You can use whatever you feel works best for your unique taste! This will also take 2-3 coats.

Step 4: Cut out circles from the tissue paper. I cut out large, medium and small circles using my own discretion. Again, use whatever colour you want based on your taste.

Step 5: Once paint is finally dry, use the podge and paint brush to apply the tissue paper on the pumpkins. Gently podge the tissue paper, if too rough the tissue paper will rip. I spread out the circles at random areas around the pumpkin, making it look scattered.

Step 6: Apply a coat of podge all over the tissue paper and pumpkin to seal it.

Let it dry and your done! The cutest little modern DIY pumpkins around!
